So I’m surfing the web, and I find this website.

And they have a 12-24 month program where you basically just go somewhere in the US and become a nanny for your host family’s children. And then, you have to take 6 credits of classes throughout the year, which the host family puts $500 towards, AND the organization that runs the program also offers free courses.
So maybe I just found something to do after I come back from China…
I could work towards my bachelors degree, and make money being a full time nanny.

EDIT: Just found out that you can’t do the US one if you, you know, actually live there. But they have one in China…

I want to see the world. The whole world. I want to visit every continent (except Antarctica. That place is way too cold for my ass.), and experience as many cultures as I can in one lifetime.
But I can’t be trapped in one place for too long, I have to see the rest of the world. There’s way too much to learn and experience and feel out there, I have to go do it. That is my biggest wish, to see as many cultures and countries as I possibly can before I die.
I visited TEFL Institute today…
AND I LOVE IT.
The neighborhood it’s in is really nice, and it’s small so I will actually learn things! There are a lot of cool things withing walking/biking distance. I will start in October, and it’s a 4-week course, so I get to stay nearby :D

I have created this blog to record the experiences I have studying in Chicago at the TEFL Institute, and then when I go overseas to teach! I probably won’t update much until the fall when I start going to TEFL, but I wanted to make sure that I had a place to record any and every experience I have this year and the next in my quest to become an English as a Second Language teacher abroad.
